P46 Main Street, Ardmore, Waterford

The current shop was built in 1935. There was no building on this site in the early 20th century although it had previously been occupied by what appears to have been a cottage (evident in 1840s OS map). Before being purchased by John & Ber Quinn the shop & house was built for a Miss Tobin (builder James Quain). Lizzie O’Keeffe bought it in the early 70s and it was purchased and extensively renovated by John & Bernadette Quinn in the early 80s.
