O Flynns, Glantane

This has had a number of owners in recent years. The O Flynn family live there now, they were preceded by the Kearney family then the Finnegan family. The Breen family (See headstone CO-GLSJ-0400 Glantane in www.historicgraves.com) ran the premises as a pub and had a hackney service also. Tim Breen played for the Cork Minor football team in the 1959 All Ireland final and was a permanent member of the Cork senior football team in the early 1960’s.
