Old School Newcastle

The junior school on Main Street, Newcastle, Dublin which preceded the National School built beside this Old School. The Old School is on the west side of St. Finians RC church and graveyard while the east side is occupied by Dowlings pub.

The Thatch Pub (McEvoys)

McEvoys pub in the village of Newcastle, Dublin. It was destroyed in a recent fire but it was once a vibrant hub for this rural village, hosting a range of farming related events such as threshing, the hunt and ploughing matches.

Top
