Built on the site of a previous dwelling in approx 1800 (https://goo.gl/MggTTV). Once the seat of the Sullivans (https://goo.gl/YSHKbt) who had land (over 2000 acres at one point of the 19th cenutry) in Cork and county Limerick These Sullivans appear to be a relict of the Gaelic Lordships - loosing the O during penal times. James Lynch and family lived here in 1911 (https://goo.gl/6NnQX9). The house, gardens and outbuildings have been restored by its current owners.
