Now the home of the Cronin family and before that the Healy family. Con Healy was one of the most noted Volunteers in the parish and engaged in many ambushes and individual gun battles with British forces during the War of Independence. He had managed to secure a type of sub machine gun and made good use of it. He spent some time in Ballykinler Gaol. He originally came from near Grenagh but settled down here. He was affectionately known as “The Gunner Healy” and his funeral was one of the largest ever witnessed in Bweeng.
