This was the signalman's house, situated at Lombardstown crossing. The house was built in two sections and housed the Dunne & Grennan families. Christy Dunne was a signalman and he lived here with his wife Tina and son George./ Jack Grennan, another signalsman, also lived here with his family Dick, Marry and Essie./The last of the signalsmen who lived here was named Gorman.
