Ben Lynn tells us he remembers this structure being used as a blacksmiths forge by the Ward family. Although a humble building it connects us to the Wards whose skills ranged from making concrete and stone Celtic Crosses (found in Temeplavalley graveyard) to the upwards extension of the Old National School.
